Photography Contest.

Here's the deal;
In honour of showcasing the youth's talent and meanwhile getting out their message of their views of Acton we are having a photography contest! Each picture submitted should have a blurb explaining. (details below)

There are two categories:

category 1. What is your haven?
For this category photographers will take a picture of one of their favourite places to go to in Acton, somewhere where they feel safe.

THE BLURB: The "blurb" or explanation for this category should tell us why you enjoy going here, what you like about it  and perhaps a special quality that sets it apart from other places.

category 2. What would you like to change about Acton?
For this category photographers will take a picture of something in Acton they think could be improved on. Or something they think is a good idea, but could be more youth friendly.

THE BLURB: The blurb for this photograph should include why you would want to improve whatever the subject matter may be, and what you think could be done to make this improvement.

What we are about.

This project is dedicated to finding out what the youth of Acton like and dislike about our town, and how we can change it for the better. Youth are coming up with cool ways to voice their opinion and it will all lead up to the event we are hosting  on Saturday, May 24th (12-8pm). The event will include local bands, comedians and artists. We want to let the politicians and other influencial people of Acton know what they can do to help better their community for the youth!
